A flying car has been rolled out by Zhejiang Geely Holding Group (Geely Holding) after the company signed an agreement with US-based Terrafugia Inc. TF-X, the world’s first vertical take-off and landing (VTOL) four-seat flying car is an all-electric vehicle with a computer-controlled flight and will be made available by 2023.
A prototype of a two-person aerial vehicle, The Transition, was released by Terrafugia in 2013. The Transition is designed to fly like a typical light sport aircraft and also work like a car on the ground. The limited series flying car will be commercially available in 2019. It is a folding-wing, two-seat aircraft, which alters between flight and drive modes in seconds.
